ProL NUPharose Mag is an antibody affinity Magnetic bead resin, the NUPharose Mag base ball is an agarose gel microsphere containing paramagnetic materials, and the ligand ProL is a recombinant streptococcus macroenterococcus protein L (catalog number is NRPA21S) developed by NUPTEC biology, which is expressed by Escherichia coli and does not contain animal sources. Protein L can bind to the kappa light chain of the antibody without affecting the antigen-binding site of the antibody, which makes it more widely bound to antibodies of various origins and subclasses than protein A and protein G that bind to the Fc region of the antibody. Such as human IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD, and containing kappa light chain (human type 1, 3, 4, mouse type 1) Fab, scFv and other antibody fragments. However, it cannot be combined with heavy chain, lambda light chain and kappa light chain (type 2), so this product cannot purify antibodies derived from cattle, goats, sheep and chickens. Compared with the corresponding agarose filler (ProL NUPharose FF, catalog number NRPB52), this product has the same ligand and has a similar binding amount. Generally, the binding amount of human IgG is higher than 30 mg/mL.
