Streptavidin NUPharose Mag is an affinity Magnetic bead resin, its ligand is streptavidin (Streptavidin),NUPharose Mag-based spheres are agarose gel microspheres containing paramagnetic materials. The Magnetic bead resin is based on the specific binding of streptavidin and biotin to achieve separation and purification of biotinylated antigens, antibodies, nucleic acids and other substances from biological samples or mixtures, and has the following three types of use models. 1. Direct purification or enrichment of biotinylated biomolecules. The binding force of streptavidin and biotin is very strong, and it can be separated under denaturing conditions, and the sample and ligand are easy to be inactivated. 2. Purification of antigen or antibody (immunoprecipitation). The biotinylated antibody is bound to the Magnetic bead resin, and the non-biotinylated antigen is purified by using the affinity characteristics of the antigen antibody. The antibody will not be eluted when the antigen is eluted. And vice versa. 3. Purification of 2-iminobiotin labeled biomolecules. The binding of streptavidin to 2-iminobiotin was weaker than that of biotin, which was bound at pH 9.5-11.0 and eluted at pH = 4.0 under non-denaturing conditions, and did not affect the activity of the sample and the activity of the gel.
