ProL NUPharose FF is a Affinity purification medium for coupling recombinant protein L(Recombinant Peptostreptococcus magnus Protein L, abbreviated as r-PPL, protein L) to a highly cross-linked agarose gel. Protein L(PPL) can bind to the kappa light chain of the antibody without affecting the antigen binding site of the antibody, which makes it more widely bound to antibodies of various sources and subclasses than protein A and protein G binding to the Fc region of the antibody. Such as human IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD, and containing kappa light chain (human type 1, 3, 4, mouse type 1) Fab, scFv and other antibody fragments. However, it cannot be combined with heavy chain, lambda light chain and kappa light chain (type 2), so this product cannot purify antibodies derived from cattle, goats, sheep and chickens.
