NuPerley DexS-HbP and NuPerley DexS-VirS is a Affinity chromatograph separation medium formed by bonding dextran sulfate (Dextran Sulfate) to a new generation of highly rigid agarose microsphere NuPerley. Dextran sulfate, also known as dextran sulfate, is a synthetic derivative of natural polysaccharide dextran, which has similar biological activity with heparin. It is a non-animal source heparin-like ligand, and the filler product is called heparin-like affinity filler. NuPerley DexS-HbP has a relatively low sulfur content (40-80 μmol/mL) and can be used for affinity separation and purification of proteins, such as plasma proteins. At the same time, sulfate is an excellent salt-tolerant cation ion exchange ligand, NuPerley DexS-HbP can also be used as a cation ion exchange filler, the binding amount of lysozyme is more than 60 mg/mL, and in 50~150 mM NaCl salt concentration is still good binding. NuPerley DexS-VirS has a relatively high sulfur content (70-130 μmol/mL) and is mainly used for the capture and purification of viruses and virus-like particles (VLPs).
