Product Name:

NuPearla Sulfate

NuPearla Sulfate is a Affinity chromatograph separation medium formed after the direct sulfation of cellulose microspheres. NuPearla is a cellulose matrix microsphere introduced by NUPTEC biology, which belongs to the "soft glue" of natural polymer source like agarose matrix microsphere ". Compared with agarose, the raw materials of cellulose microspheres have standard grades, the cellulose skeleton does not contain anionic groups, and the non-specific adsorption of cellulose microspheres is 1/10 to 1/3 of that of agarose microspheres. For example, the non-specific adsorption of cytochrome C by cellulose-based microspheres of this product can be as low as 2 μg/mL. After sulfation, NuPearla Sulfate have affinity for a variety of live viruses, inactivated or structurally cleaved viruses, viral or microbial antigens and heparin binding proteins. At the same time, sulfate is an excellent salt-tolerant cation ion exchange ligand, NuPearla Sulfate can also be used as a cation ion exchange filler, the binding amount of lysozyme can reach 180 mg/mL, and in 50~200 mM NaCl salt concentration is still good binding.
