Product Name:

Co-NTA NUPharose FF

Co-NTA NUPharose FF is a metal chelating filler containing nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) group, which is mainly used for Affinity chromatograph of histidine tag (His-tag) protein. This product is based on NUPTEC biological classic NUPharose agarose gel microspheres, pre-chelated Co2 on the basis of IMAC NUPharose FF (catalog number NRPB76), and can be used directly by users. The affinity and specificity of different metal ions to the target protein are different. The affinity of Cu2, Ni2, Zn2 and Co2 decreases in turn (affecting the yield), and the specificity increases in turn (affecting the purity). When the chelated Ni2 cannot meet the purity requirements, the chelated metal ion Co2 of this product can be considered. Compared with iminodiacetic acid (IDA) ligand, NTA ligand has more balanced performance, better tolerance to chelating agents, reducing agents, alkali and other reagents, and less metal ions are shed from the eluent during purification.
