ST2 NUPharose Mag is a tag affinity Magnetic bead resin, which is used to isolate and purify Strep II or Twin Strep tag proteins. The ligand is a mutant of streptavidin (ST2 ligand),NUPharose the Mag-based spheres are agarose gel microspheres containing paramagnetic materials. The Strep II tag is a small tag (WSHPQFEK) of 8 amino acids, which generally does not affect the structure and function of the fusion protein, and is commonly used in the detection and purification of fusion expression proteins. Twin Strep tag is a tag of two Strep II in tandem. Compared with Strep II tag, Twin Strep tag has higher affinity with ST2 ligand.
