Alkaline phosphatase (AP) is a dimer of two identical subunits and is a glycoprotein containing about 12% carbohydrate. Alkaline phosphatase is one of the most commonly used marker enzymes in immunodiagnostic reagents. The Biotinylated-AP of NUPTEC, Inc. covalently couples highly active AP to biotin by a unique labeling technique. The Biotinylated-AP can be widely used in immunohistochemistry, ELISA, gene probes and other disciplines of signal amplification detection system, with streptavidin to achieve signal amplification.
