Vascular endothelial growth factor (Vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF), also known as vascular permeability factor (Vascular permeability factor,VPF), is an important regulatory factor in the process of fetal and adult angiogenesis and angiogenesis. VEGF is a glycosylated cell mitogen that specifically acts on endothelial cells, and plays a role in enhancing vascular permeability, inducing angiogenesis and angiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth, promoting cell migration, and inhibiting cell apoptosis. Due to the different splicing methods of mRNA, six protein forms such as VEGF121, VEGF145, VEGF165, VEGF183, VEGF189 and VEGF206 are produced.
